ACP is currently seeking a passionate, and energetic early childhood professional to work in our classroom as a teaching assistant

Job Description

  • Assist the Directress in implementing daily lesson plans and activities inspired by Montessori principles

  • Support children in learning through play and hands-on activities

  • Supervise children to ensure a safe and engaging classroom environment

  • Help with classroom management by reinforcing positive behavior and classroom expectations

  • Assist children with basic needs, including toileting and handwashing

  • Follow all school policies, safety regulations, and early childhood education best practices 
     

Qualifications

  • Highschool diploma or GED

  • Relevant work experience

  • Certified in infant/child First Aid and CPR (will train if needed)

  • CPS Central Registry and Criminal Background Investigation as per DSS guidelines
